Reading of The Declaration of Independence
On Sunday, July 4th, the Estero Historical Society
will host the highly anticipated reading of the Declaration of Independence. The reading will take place across from the
Society's buildings in the Estero Community Park. Copies of the Declaration of Independence will be handed out to the public.
As in previous years, the public will form a circle and take turns reading small sections of the Declaration. The Society
asks that you bring lawn chairs. Refreshments will be provided. The event begins at 1 o'clock Sunday. The public is encouraged
